The "Do-Nothing Congress" Does Something

A while ago, I posted a story about a Kansas religious group that was protesting at military funerals. With their brilliant logic, they had concluded that God was punishing America for its tolerance of homosexuality.

I was heartened today to read that Congress has passed a law on these protests, making them illegal "within 300 feet of the entrance of a cemetery, and within 150 feet of a road into the cemetery from 60 minutes before to 60 minutes after a funeral."

It almost makes me want to start voting again.
