The Weathah - It's Like Buddah
Toledo is finally starting to cool down. We've had several days with temperatures in the low 70s, and this trend is supposed to continue for the next week.
Rest assured, there will still be a few miserable hot and sticky days before Fall finally arrives, but their days are numbered.

Agnostic and Apolitical
It's where I'm ultimately headed.
For the most part, it is the way I live now. I still pray, but I've essentially abandoned my faith. I still watch the news, but tune out on political or weighty matters.
I'm not a Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Catholic, or Wican. I'm not a Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian, or Communist.
I'm nothing, and proud of it.
This new way of life has certainly been a shift away from my previous self. I was wildly interested in politics, current events, making a difference, etc, growing up. I remember reading a political magazine in high school to the bewilderment turned ridicule of a friend. While I was never deeply involved in my faith, I did participate in activities and groups for my school and church.
Whatever. I think this is the way it has to be for now, maybe forever, because life is too short, and too long, to encumber ourselves with these stress and shame-inducing imprisonments.
